About the Coach

Mary Mulliken is the creator of Treelife Coaching, a conglomerate of coach-approached services, and a virtual one-stop shop for people endeavoring to maximize meaning and originality and minimize stagnation and sameness in their personal milestones, public and sacred events, and day-to-day living. She is a certified Professional Coach who received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and her Transformational Coaching Credential at the Open Center in New York City.

Mary’s ease with the skills and paradigms of powerful coaching, combined with her innately warm and caring connection with people, and tremendous creative flair, make her a unique and highly effective coach, celebrant, and group leader. She believes in the truly wondrous power of the human spirit, and is a doctor-certified “medical miracle,” having cured herself, in 2007, of an incurable disease. Mary’s presence helps people come alive.

Before becoming a coach, Mary taught public high school, as well as private voice and Spanish lessons. She later supported herself waiting tables at one of NYC’s top restaurants, and playing concerts all over the U.S. as a singer-songwriter, eventually producing one EP and two full-length albums of her original music.  Mary loves to cook and bake, learn new homesteading skills, work on her old house, invent and play games, sew patchwork quilts, complete unofficial triathlons, and travel around the country visiting the people she loves.

Mary is currently working on a handful of writing projects and recently moved Treelife Coaching, along with her partner and son, to Portland, OR.
